Esmeralda Hernandez, personal banker for First State Bank & Trust Company, recently completed the 2018 School of Lending Principles. This school was held March 5-9 in Grand Island.
The School of Lending Principles is sponsored by the Kansas and Nebraska Bankers Associations and is endorsed by the Colorado, Louisiana and Wyoming Bankers Associations.
The school is designed to instruct students in the theory and process of basic lending. Completion of this course assists students in developing skills, which allow them to better serve their customer’s multiple financial needs.
Hernandez has been with First State since 2017. She is a Diplomat with the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce. Hernandez has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Midland University.
The Schools of Banking, located in Lincoln, is a jointly owned subsidiary of the Kansas and Nebraska Bankers Association.
