Cruizin’ Main

Cruizin Main 2017 Annual Car show has been rescheduled this week due to rain last week. All the same great events will be going on. Due to the rain, however, Lemon Fresh Day could not reschedule their performance, but the Chad Lee Band has taken its place.

Their repertoire of songs includes country, classic rock, oldies, etc.

Grab a bite to eat a local restaurants or at any of several food trucks available including Hy-Vee, Attitude on Food, The Churro Truck, Sweet Lime Thai, Nehawka Bar and grill, The Gyro Truck, BBQ Spice your Life, The Lions Club, Scotty’s Go Go Grill and The Knights of Columbus. DC Waterhole and Sinnott Bar will be hosting the beer garden and “VFW will be open on Sixth and Main Street. Fun vendors will be elling their goods along with our local restaurants and shopping establishments. Come out for a great time.

Get a Clue

Plattsmouth Chamber of Commerce is planning its annual Dinner Auction with a “Clue” theme. There will be great food, entertainment and live auctions. To purchase tickets email Cindy at ccruse@plattsmouthchamber.com . The table that discovers the answer to the “Clue” game wins $400. There will be many other fun prizes to win.

Trunk or Treat

Plattsmouth Letterclub Trunk or Treat and PHS Academies Halls of Halloween will be 6:30- 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30. Trunks will be set up around 6 p.m. and ready for participants by 6:30. If you are interested in sponsoring a trunk, they have had more than 300 youth attend the events in the past. Please contact Jaima at jnegrete@pcsd.org if you would like a spot and for further information.

We would like to extend an invitation to any business that would like to participate in our Trunk or Treat as well or anyone who might not be located on Main Street and would like to participate in a community event.

Rummage Sale

St. John’s Rummage Sale is scheduled 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 18-20 at St. John the Baptist School in Plattsmouth.
