Plattsmouth Elementary School students saved the day for 101 Dalmatian puppies during their final performance of the shortened version of the popular Walt Disney production.
Sixty students participated in the production of 101 Dalmatians, made possible through a grant provided Disney Musicals and Omaha Performing Arts Society.
Students were originally scheduled for dress rehearsal Feb. 21 with their audience of all elementary students, but the performance was postponed until Feb. 28.

Plattsmouth Elementary School teacher Tori Colwin served as the music director for the Plattsmouth show and Jill Meints directed it. Cheri Larson was its producer. Students began practicing for the musical in October. Maddie Radcliff-Reilly and Kristalynn Busskohl, two performing arts teachers, worked with the students during Monday and Wednesday practices.
