Girls Golf

OMAHA – Elmwood-Murdock golfers carded many of their top scores of the season Tuesday during rounds at the Bennington Invite.

The Knights competed against a variety of Class A, B and C schools during the 18-hole meet. E-M head coach Curt Backemeyer said he was pleased with the efforts of the four Elmwood-Murdock golfers.

“We had a beautiful warm day, and despite the heat making the round a test of endurance, all the girls showed significant improvement,” Backemeyer said.

Rylee Hogue posted a score of 119 and Chealy Kucera collected a total of 122. Morgan Mills (136) and Katrina Hansen (146) helped the Knights claim sixth place in team standings.
