Four residents had windows broken out of their parked vehicles Tuesday, Fremont Police reported.
Lt. Ed Watts of the FPD said it's believed at this time that the incidents are all related.
At 6:30 a.m., an officer responded to the 400 block of West Fourth Street in regard to a parked vehicle having one of its windows shattered by an unknown person or persons. No items were taken from the vehicle and the estimated damage is $200.
At 8 a.m., police responded to the 1600 block of North Colson Avenue in regard to two driver-side windows being shattered by an unknown person or persons.. Nothing was taken from the vehicle and the estimated damage is $250.
At 12:30 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of West Sixth Street in regard to a vehicle having its driver-side window shattered. Police said the victim found small dents on the driver-side door consistent with damaged caused by a BB or pellet gun. No items were taken from the vehicle and the estimated damage is $800.
At 1 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1600 block of West Dakota Street in reference to a vehicle's driver-side window being shattered. Once again, small dents were found in the driver-side door which were consistent with damage caused by a BB or pellet gun. The estimated damage is $400.
