A Fremont man was arrested on numerous charges Tuesday evening, Fremont Police reported.

At 9:49 p.m., officers attempted to make contact with a man in the 1600 block of North Bell Street who possibly had an active warrant out for his arrest.

Contact was made with Jeremy E. Rousseau, 38, who allegedly fled of foot from police.

Rousseau was eventually located and charged with obstruction of a police officer, resisting arrest and being in felony possession of a switchblade knife.
