Fremont Police are investigating a possible burglary after a home was broken into sometime Tuesday, Lt. Ed Watts said.

Officers responded at 7 p.m. to the 2100 block of North Union Street in regard to an unknown person or persons forcibly gaining access into a home through a front door, and proceeding to ransack the home before leaving through a back entrance.

Police said it's unknown at this time if anything is missing, and that $100 of damage was sustained to the front door of the home through which access was gained.
