Law enforcement responded to two theft complaints Monday, Fremont Police reported.

Officers were dispatched at 11:20 a.m. to the 400 block of West Fifth Street in regard to an unknown person or persons removing two taillights from a homemade trailer parked in the victims yard.

There are no suspects at this time and the estimated loss is $50.

At 3:45 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of East 23rd Street after it was reported that a parked U-Haul trailer was taken from a business property.

The trailer is described as a 1996 enclosed tandem axle trailer with equipment No. RV1435F printed on the front, back and both sides of the trailer.

The estimated loss is 4,000 and anybody with information regarding either of these thefts is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 402-727-4002.
