Law enforcement responded to three hit-and-run accidents over the course of the weekend, Fremont Police reported.
Officers were dispatched at 8:45 p.m. Friday to the 1200 block of North Broad Street in regard to a 2007 Chevrolet Impala being struck by an unknown vehicle.
There are no suspects in the case and the estimated damage is $1,500.
At 7:55 a.m. Saturday, a hit-and-run accident lead to one man being arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Officers responded to the 200 block of South William Avenue where they investigated a 1994 purple Ford Mustang being struck by a vehicle while parked on the street. Witnesses identified 21-year-old Juan Velasquez Batz as a suspect.
Contact was made with Batz, who allegedly left the scene. While speaking with Batz, he appeared to be impaired and it was determined that he had been driving while impaired.
As a result, Batz was arrested for DUI and for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
At 8:15 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a hit-and-run accident occurring in the 200 block of South Downing Street resulting in damage to a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am. The estimated damage is $2,500.
