A Fremont man was arrested after Fremont Police officers responded to a reported disturbance on Saturday.

According to the Fremont Police Department, at approximately 12:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence in the 400 block of west Third Street.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers had contact with Jesse A. Hill, 37, of Fremont.

According to Fremont Police, Hill had gone to the residence to claim personal property and became involved in a dispute with the people living at the residence. During the dispute, Hill allegedly damaged property at the residence in the presence of children and was belligerent with officers.

Hill was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, and child abuse/neglect.
