A traffic stop by the Fremont Police Department led to the arrest of a Fremont man on multiple charges on Sunday.
According to the Fremont Police Department, at approximately 12:50 p.m. Casey L. Stewart, 32, of Fremont was arrested following a traffic stop in the 3000 block of east 23rd Street.
The traffic stop was initiated after Stewart was observed operating a motor vehicle with no license plates.
During the stop, officers observed an open alcoholic beverage container in the vehicle as well a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The responding officer also learned that Stewart’s license was revoked.
As a result of the investigation, Stewart was arrested and charged with driving during revocation, possession or consumption of an open alcoholic container, possession of marijuana less that one ounce, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
