Two counterfeit bills were seized by law enforcement Tuesday from a local restaurant, Fremont Police reported.

Officers were dispatched at 8 a.m. to the 2200 block of North Broad Street in regard to an unknown person who used a fraudulent $5 and $10 bill. There are no suspects at this time and it's unknown whether the person who used the bills knew they were counterfeit.

The serial number present on the $10 bill has been recorded 74 times by law enforcement in the Omaha metro area, Lt. Ed Watts said.
