Cases heard Tuesday included (unless otherwise noted, an additional $44 in court costs is added to fines and jail sentences):

* Brian Abington, 24, of Norfolk was fined $75 for driving under suspension, a Class III misdemeanor.

* Andrew K. Allen, 19, of Fremont pleaded guilty to theft by shoplifting, a Class II misdemeanor. He was fined $150.

* Kurt Applegate, 25, of Fremont had his probation revoked and was sentenced to intense supervised probation until Dec. 31. He violated his previous probation for third-degree assault, a Class I misdemeanor, by leaving the state and getting arrested for assault in Kansas.

* Rachael Archer, 25, of Fremont pleaded guilty to no proof of insurance, a Class II misdemeanor. She was fined $75.

* Mary Ellis-Harden was appointed to represent Corey J. Arnold, 26, of Scribner and arraignment was continued until Feb. 21. Arnold is charged with DUI-first offense, failure to appear, a Class II misdemeanor; no operator’s license on person, a Class III misdemeanor; and unsafe backing, an infraction.

* Rogelio Barba, 22, of Fremont pleaded no contest to domestic assault, a Class I misdemeanor, and driving under the influence-first offense, a Class W misdemeanor. In exchange for his plea, a charge of speeding, an infraction, was dismissed. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and sentencing set for March 28.

* Megan Byers, 20, of Fort Calhoun, had her sentencing for driving under suspension continued until March 28.

* Matthew Charlton, 18, of Fremont pleaded guilty to DUI-first offense, no operator’s license, speeding and open container. When he was stopped Jan. 10 by Fremont Police, his blood alcohol content was .124 percent. He was sentenced to six months probation and a $400 fine. As part of his probation, he must attend a defensive driving class, a victim’s impact panel and a chemical education class. He also must perform 60 hours of community service and his driver’s license was revoked for 60 days.

* Tracey L. Christensen, 34, of Fremont pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. Her sentencing was continued until April 4.

* Charles Collins, 55, of Fremont pleaded guilty to no proof of insurance, no valid registration and driving under suspension. Sentencing was continued until April 4.

* Billie Damerow, 34, of Omaha pleaded no contest to no valid registration, no proof of insurance and driving under suspension. Sentencing was continued until March 7.

* Janelle Duncan, 25, of Fremont pleaded guilty to no valid registration and no proof of insurance. She was fined $100.

* Chris Ekker, 37, of Fremont pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, a Class III misdemeanor. He was fined $100.

* Kelly Ekker, 20, of North Bend pleaded guilty to minor in possession, a Class III misdemeanor. In exchange for her plea, a charge of driving on the shoulder, an infraction, was dismissed. She was fined $250.

* Daniel Fuehrer, 32, of Fremont had his sentencing for driving under suspension continued until March 28.

* Jeffrey Gaskin, 20, of Fremont pleaded guilty to minor in possession and the infractions of zero tolerance and driving left of center. He was fined $375 and his driver’s license was impounded for 30 days.

* Adam Hagedorn, 21, of Dodge pleaded guilty to DUI-first offense. In exchange for his plea, charges of open container, failure to signal and driving on the shoulder were dismissed. His sentencing was continued until March 14.

* Andrew G. Hampton, 40, of Fremont had his arraignment continued until Feb. 14. He is charged with DUI-second offense and driving under suspension.

* Sasha Helget, 18, of Cedar Bluffs had her sentencing for second-degree forgery, a Class I misdemeanor, continued until Feb. 14.

* Katie Heller, 27, of Omaha pleaded no contest to driving under suspension and violating a stop sign. She was fined $125.

* Michael L. Homan, 35, of Fremont pleaded no contest to obstructing a peace officer, a Class I misdemeanor. In exchange for his plea, charges of attempted assault, a Class II misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct were dismissed. He was fined $300.

* Teresa Kitzing, 39, of Snyder was fined $150 for driving under suspension and speeding.

* Shannon Layman, 30, of Fremont pleaded no contest to no valid registration, a Class III misdemeanor, and driving under suspension. She was fined $100.

* Matthew Letner, 42, of Fremont pleaded guilty to theft by deception, a Class II misdemeanor. In exchange for his plea, the charge was amended from a Class IV felony. He was fined $200 and given credit for 14 days time served.

* Levi Limbach, 24, of Fremont pleaded innocent to violating a protection order, a Class II misdemeanor, disorderly conduct and two counts of disturbing the peace. A pretrial conference was set for March 28.

* Ricardo Mendez Jr., 23, of Fremont pleaded no contest to attempted possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, a Class I misdemeanor. In exchange for his plea, the charge was amended to possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, a Class IV felony, and a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, an infraction, was dismissed. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and sentencing set for March 28.

* Holly Mann, 22, of Scribner pleaded guilty to DUI-first offense and driving under suspension. In exchange for her plea, charges of disturbing the peace and driving on the shoulder were dismissed. She was ordered to obtain a chemical evaluation and sentencing was set for April 4.

* Suzanna Miller, 44, of Scribner pleaded no contest to no proof of insurance. She was fined $75.

* A Feb. 17 preliminary hearing was set for Jackson Nelson, 20, of Fremont. He is charged with theft by deception, a Class IV felony.

* Kevin A. Settles, 21, of Scribner pleaded guilty to animal cruelty, a Class I misdemeanor. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and sentencing was set for March 28.

* Marcus L. Showman, 29, of Fremont pleaded no contest to false reporting, a Class I misdemeanor, and driving under suspension. His sentencing was continued until March 28.

* Jeremy Siems, 18, of Fremont pleaded no contest to no proof of insurance and speeding. He was fined $100.

* Steven Sterba, 46, of Omaha had his sentencing for driving under suspension continued until March 7.

* Laurie Stouffer, 50, of Schuyler had her arraignment continued until March 28 so she could consult an attorney. She is charged with DUI-first offense and driving on the shoulder.

* Zachary Taage, 22, of Omaha pleaded no contest to driving during revocation, a Class II misdemeanor. In exchange for his plea, a charge of speeding was dismissed. He was fined $200 and his driver’s license was suspended for two years.

* Elizabeth D. Thomas, 21, of Wahpeton, N.D., pleaded guilty to theft by shoplifting. She was fined $150.

* John W. Thomas Jr., 21, of Wahpeton, N.D., pleaded guilty to theft by shoplifting. He was fined $150.

* James Tozser, 47, of Gaylord, Mich., pleaded no contest to driving under suspension, and the infractions of no driver’s log and no proof of commercial insurance liability. He was fined $250.

* David T. Wacker, 19, of Fremont pleaded guilty to minor in possession. He was fined $250.

* Mark Williams, 20, of Fremont pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and expired in-transits. His sentencing was continued until March 14.

* Craig Wimberly, 32, of Wahoo pleaded guilty to procuring alcohol for a minor, a Class I misdemeanor. In exchange for his plea, a charge of open container was dismissed. He was fined $300.

* Christian Wishecoby, 38, of Fremont pleaded guilty to DUI-first offense. In exchange for his plea, the misdemeanors of driving without headlights, possession of marijuana-less than an ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed. When he was stopped Dec. 15 by the Nebraska State Patrol for driving without headlights, his blood alcohol content was .103 percent. He was sentenced to seven days in jail, fined $400 and his driver’s license was revoked for six months.

* Brad Holtorff was appointed to represent Dion Zesslin, 36, of Fremont and arraignment was continued until Feb. 21. Zesslin is charged with disorderly conduct.

* Bench warrants for failure to appear were issued for: Sheena Griffin, 21; Duane Kuhn, 21; Evelyn Martinez, 21; Troy Miller, 30; Jessica C. Mohr, 19; and Joshua Simmons, 22, all of Fremont; Brenda Taylor, 38, of Craig; Erica McGinn, 20, of North Bend; and Christopher Chavez, 23, of Omaha.
