Cases heard Tuesday in Dodge County Court included (unless otherwise noted, an additional $44 in court costs is added to fines and jail sentences):

* Justin Anthony, 20, of Winslow pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace, a Class III misdemeanor. He was sentenced to five days in jail and fined $200.

* J.D. Banister, 31, of Fremont had his sentencing for domestic assault, a Class I misdemeanor, continued until May 8.

* Zachary Berkland, 24, of Fremont pleaded guilty to driving under the influence-first offense, a Class W misdemeanor. In exchange for his plea, the charge was amended from DUI-first offense greater than .15 percent blood alcohol content. He was sentenced to seven days in jail, fined $400 and his driver’s license was suspended for six months.

* Alyssa Boysen, 19, of Aurora, Colo., pleaded guilty to minor in possession, a Class III misdemeanor. She was fined $250.

* Troy Brewer, 33, of Fremont pleaded guilty to driving under suspension, a Class III misdemeanor. Sentencing was set for May 22.

* Ryan Brooks, 21, of Fremont pleaded guilty to DUI-first offense. In exchange for his plea, the charge was amended from DUI-first offense greater than .15 percent blood alcohol content. He was sentenced to seven days in jail, fined $400 and his driver’s license was revoked for six months.

* Jeremy Cadillo, 20, of Fremont pleaded guilty to minor in possession, a Class III misdemeanor. He was fined $250.

* A May 3 bench trial was set for Dale Carlson, 54, of Fremont. He is charged with DUI-first offense.

* Andrew Christensen, 18, of Fremont pleaded guilty to theft by shoplifting, a Class II misdemeanor, and second-degree trespass, a Class III misdemeanor. He was fined $400 and ordered to pay $150 in restitution.

* Kyle Classen, 46, of North Bend pleaded guilty to DUI-first offense. In exchange for the plea, the charge was amended from DUI-second offense. He was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, six months of probation and fined $400. As part of his probation, he must attend a defensive driving class, a victim’s impact panel and a chemical education class. He also must perform 60 hours of community service and his driver’s license was revoked for 60 days. An ignition interlock device was approved.

* William R. Durand, 36, of Fremont pleaded guilty to domestic assault, a Class I misdemeanor, and theft by exercising control, a Class II misdemeanor. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and sentencing set for May 22. He was released on a personal recognizance bond.

* Santos Escobedo, 31, of Fremont pleaded guilty to DUI-first offense; disorderly conduct, a Class III misdemeanor; and open container, an infraction. In exchange for his plea, the charge was amended from DUI-first offense greater than .15 percent blood alcohol content. He was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, six months of probation and fined $600. As part of his probation, he must attend a defensive driving class, a victim’s impact panel and a chemical education class. He also must perform 60 hours of community service and his driver’s license was revoked for 60 days.

* Jeffrey Finkral, 37, of Humphrey pleaded guilty to no proof of insurance, a Class II misdemeanor. He was fined $75.

* Marie Fredlund, 19, of Fremont admitted to violating her probation for DUI-first offense and minor in possession, a Class III misdemeanor. Her probation was revoked and she was sentenced to seven days in jail.

* Wilson Griffis, 40, of Fremont pleaded no contest to DUI-first offense greater than .15 percent blood alcohol content, a Class W misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, fined $500 and his driver’s license was suspended for one year.

* Mark A. Griffiths, 40, of Fremont pleaded guilty to two counts of DUI-third offense, Class W misdemeanors. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and sentencing set for May 22 so he could complete an inpatient treatment program.

* Brandon Harris, 20, of Papillion waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to Dodge County District Court for an April 16 arraignment. Harris is charged with tampering with evidence, a Class IV felony, and accessory to a felony, a Class I misdemeanor.

* Duaine Harvey, 34, of Fremont was sentenced to five days in jail, fined $25 and his driver’s license was revoked for one year for driving under suspension and following too close, an infraction.

* Richard Register was appointed to represent Travis Hoge, 26, of Fremont and arraignment was continued until April 24. Hoge is charged with third-degree assault and false reporting, Class I misdemeanors, and the Class III misdemeanors of disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.

* Maxwell Jimenez, 20, of Fremont pleaded guilty to driving under suspension, a Class III misdemeanor. Sentencing was set for June 12.

* Matthew Johnson, 26, of Fremont pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of a property damage accident, a Class II misdemeanor. Sentencing was set for April 24.

* Joshua Keenan, 28, of Fremont pleaded guilty to DUI-first offense. In exchange for his plea, the charge was amended from DUI-second offense greater than .15 percent blood alcohol content, a Class I misdemeanor. He was sentenced to seven days in jail, six months of probation and fined $400. As part of his probation, he must attend a defensive driving class, a victim’s impact panel and a chemical education class. He also must perform 60 hours of community service and his driver’s license was revoked for 60 days.

* Melissa Kilbourn, 24, of Fremont was sentenced to one year of probation and fined $600 for obstructing a police investigation, a Class I misdemeanor; DUI-first offense; and driving during revocation, a Class II misdemeanor. As part of her probation, she must attend a defensive driving class, a victim’s impact panel and a chemical education class. She also must perform 120 hours of community service and her driver’s license was revoked for one year.

* Mike Weiseman was appointed to represent Robert Kohout, 45, of Fremont and arraignment was continued until May 1. Kohout is charged with DUI-first offense.

* Kyle Kovar, 23, of David City pleaded guilty to DUI-first offense. A chemical evaluation was ordered and sentencing set for May 8.

* Joseph Kros, 73, of Fremont had his arraignment continued until April 24. He is charged with third-degree assault, a Class I misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a Class III misdemeanor.

* Thomas Layman, 52, of Hooper pleaded guilty to DUI-third offense. In exchange for his plea, the charge was amended from DUI-third offense greater than .15 percent blood alcohol content. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and sentencing set for May 8.

* Bruce Martins, 37, of Fremont pleaded no contest to disturbing the peace, a Class III misdemeanor. He was fined $250.

* Matthew R. McDonald, 20, of Fremont pleaded guilty to DUI-first offense and minor in possession, a Class III misdemeanor. He was sentenced to seven days in jail, fined $750 and his driver’s license was revoked for six months.

* Shane Placek was appointed to represent Jade Mendoza, 20, of Lincoln and a hearing on a motion to revoke her probation for DUI-first offense and minor in possession was continued until April 10.

* Melissa Schutt was appointed to represent Jennifer Milton, 28, of Fremont and arraignment was continued until April 24. Milton is charged with five counts of fraudulently obtaining unemployment benefits, Class III misdemeanors.

* Stewart Mowery, 45, of Fremont pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal trespass, a Class II misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail. In a separate case, he was sentenced to one year in prison for first-degree criminal trespass, a Class I misdemeanor, and 90 days for theft by shoplifting, a Class II misdemeanor. All sentences will be served concurrently.

* Jimmy D. Olson, 54, of Fremont was sentenced to 30 days in jail, two years of probation and fined $600 for DUI-third offense. As part of his probation, he must attend a defensive driving class, a victim’s impact panel and a chemical education class. He also must perform 60 hours of community service and his driver’s license was revoked for two years. He was ordered to wear a continuous alcohol monitoring device during his probation and an ignition interlock device was approved.

* Rick W. Phillips, 51, of Fremont pleaded no contest to domestic assault, a Class I misdemeanor. In exchange for his plea, a charge of strangulation, a Class IV felony, was dismissed. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and sentencing set for May 1. He was released on his own recognizance.

* Joseph Ridgebear, 25, of Fremont waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to Dodge County District Court for an April 23. He is charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver, a Class III felony; possession of a controlled substance, a Class IV felony; and the infractions of possession of marijuana-less than an ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia. A request to reduce his bond from 10 percent of $75,000 was denied.

* April Rohloff, 23, of Fremont had her arraignment continued until April 24 so she could consult an attorney. She is charged with DUI-third offense greater than .15 percent blood alcohol content, a Class IIIA felony.

* Corrie Roucka, 32, of Fremont admitted to violating her probation for theft by receiving stolen property, a Class I misdemeanor, by not paying attorney fees. The attorney fees were waived and the motion to revoke was dismissed.

* Tory Sorensen, 25, of Fremont pleaded innocent to domestic assault and disturbing the peace. An April 24 pretrial conference was set.

* Jodell Steele, 43, of Winslow pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace, a Class III misdemeanor. He was fined $200.

* Ron Sulley, 41, of Fremont denied a motion to revoke his probation for domestic assault, a Class I misdemeanor. An April 24 pretrial conference was set.

* Joshua Taylor, 20, of Fremont pleaded guilty to minor in possession and open container, an infraction. In exchange for his plea, a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, an infraction, was dismissed. Taylor was fined $300.

* Jeremy Swift, 18, of Arlington pleaded guilty to minor in possession. He was fined $250.

* Michael Thibodeau, 38, of Fremont pleaded innocent to domestic assault, a Class I misdemeanor. A jury trial was requested and a May 1 pretrial conference was set. His bond was reduced from 10 percent of $50,000 to 10 percent of $10,000.

* Edward Walker, 48, of Colon was sentenced to six months of probation and fined $400 for DUI-first offense. As part of his probation, he must attend a defensive driving class, a victim’s impact panel and a chemical education class. He also must perform 60 hours of community service and his driver’s license was revoked for 60 days.

* Tammy Waloke, 40, of Fremont pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, a Class III misdemeanor, and possession of marijuana-less than an ounce, an infraction. She was fined $200.

* Amber Wright, 25, of Fremont pleaded no contest to theft of lost or mislaid property, a Class III misdemeanor. In exchange for her plea, the charge was amended from theft by deception, a Class II misdemeanor. She was fined $50 and ordered to pay $50 in restitution.

* Bench warrants for failure to appear were ordered in open court for: Anthony Nielsen, 29, of Council Bluffs; Jason Cappellano, 26, of Scribner; and Christopher Spencer, 21, of Fremont.
