Cases heard Tuesday in Dodge County Court included (unless otherwise noted, an additional $44 in court costs is added to fines and jail sentences):

*Heather Adams, 18, of Fremont pleaded innocent to attempted theft by exercising control, a Class II misdemeanor, and minor in possession, a Class III misdemeanor. She also denied a motion to revoke her probation for leaving the scene of a property damage accident, a Class II misdemeanor. An Oct. 14 pretrial conference was set.

* Casey Bahrs, 19, of Fremont pleaded guilty to theft by shoplifting, a Class II misdemeanor. He was fined $100.

* Adan Betancourt, 25, of Omaha pleaded guilty to driving under the influence-first offense, a Class W misdemeanor, and open container, an infraction. A chemical evaluation was ordered and sentencing set for Oct. 21.

* A Oct. 14 preliminary hearing was set for Justin Bittinger, 19, of Fremont. He is charged with possession of a short rifle, a Class IV felony, DUI-third offense, a Class W misdemeanor; and false reporting, a Class I misdemeanor. His bond was reduced to 10 percent of $50,000 from 10 percent of $100,000.

* Burdette Busch, 68, of North Bend pleaded guilty to DUI-first offense. He was sentenced to six months of probation and fined $400. As part of his probation, he must attend a defensive driving class, a victims impact panel and a chemical education class. He also must perform 60 hours of community service and his drivers license was revoked for 60 days. An ignition interlock device was approved.

* Alfonso Cardenas, 44, of Fremont pleaded guilty to no proof of insurance, a Class II misdemeanor, and driving during suspension, a Class III misdemeanor. He was fined $150.

* Edgar Carrillo, 18, of Fremont pleaded guilty to DUI-first offense. In exchange for his plea, the charge was amended from DUI-second offense. A chemical evaluation was ordered and sentencing set for Oct. 28.

* Carl Christensen, 22, of Omaha admitted to a motion to revoke his probation for DUI-first offense greater than .15 percent blood alcohol content. In a separate case, he also pleaded no contest to obstructing a peace officer, a Class I misdemeanor. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and sentencing set for Nov. 25.

* An Oct. 21 preliminary hearing was set for Javier Deleon, 26, of Fremont. He is accused of making terroristic threats, a Class IV felony, and disorderly conduct, a Class III misdemeanor.

* Amanda Cross, 27, of Fremont pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and fictitious license plates, Class III misdemeanors. Sentencing was set for Nov. 14.

* Dale Ellis, 21, of Nickerson pleaded guilty to driving during revocation, a Class II misdemeanor. He was fined $200 and his drivers license was revoked for one year.

* Kayla Ewing, 19, of Fremont was fined $75 for driving under suspension.

* Heather Facklam, 25, of Fremont had her probation for unauthorized use of a financial transaction device and false reporting, Class I misdemeanors, revoked. She was sentenced to 60 days in jail.

* Nathan Flores, 19, of Fremont was fined $75 for driving under suspension.

* Kathryne Gnau, 31, of Fremont pleaded no contest to false reporting, a Class I misdemeanor. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and sentencing set for Oct. 28.

* Juergen Hauser, 44, of Omaha was sentenced to six months of probation and fined $400 for DUI-first offense. As part of his probation, he must attend a defensive driving class, a victims impact panel and a chemical education class. He also must perform 60 hours of community service and his drivers license was revoked for 60 days. He plans to move back home to Germany at the end of the year, and Judge Kenneth Vampola said he would consider an early release from probation if Hauser completes all of his probation requirements early.

* Casey Hillman, 19, of Fremont waived extradition to South Dakota on a charge of felony grand theft.

* Robin Holloway, 49, of Fremont was fined $150 for driving under suspension and her drivers license was suspended for one year.

*n Dean Jackson, 36, of Fremont had his sentencing for driving under suspension continued until Oct. 28.

* Brandon Katz, 23, of Fremont was fined $150 driving under suspension and speeding.

* Timothy Kaup, 41, of West Point was sentenced to 90 days in jail and fined $500 for DUI-second offense greater than .15 percent blood alcohol content, a Class I misdemeanor. His drivers license also was suspended for one year.

* Alisa Kay, 36, of Fremont pleaded guilty to no proof of insurance. She was fined $75.

* Lisa Langhorst, 42, of North Bend had her arraignment for DUI-first offense greater than .15 percent blood alcohol content continued until Oct. 14.

* David Leslie, 40, of Fremont was fined $75 for driving under suspension.

* Thomas Moakler, 23, of Fremont pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana-more than an ounce, but less than a pound, a Class III misdemeanor. He was sentenced to six days in jail and given credit for time served.

* Deandra Moore, 22, of Omaha was fined $150 and his drivers license was suspended for one year for driving under suspension.

* Cynthia Morton, 41, of Fremont pleaded no contest to false reporting, a Class I misdemeanor. She was fined $100.

* David Newill, 18, of Fremont pleaded to willful reckless driving, a Class III misdemeanor.

* Avis Andrews was appointed to represent Susan Oothoudt, 24, of Fremont and her arraignment for child abuse, a Class I misdemeanor, was continued until Oct. 28.

* Hugh Pedersen, 18, of Fremont pleaded guilty to minor in possession and disorderly conduct. He was fined $450.

* Steven Twohig was appointed to represent Lawrence Pensick, 61, of Fremont and Pensick’s arraignment was continued until Oct. 28. Pensick is charged with DUI-second offense greater than .15 percent blood alcohol content, a Class I misdemeanor, and failure to signal, an infraction.

* Ryan Rasmussen, 25, of Fremont was sentenced to one year of probation for three counts of theft by receiving stolen property, Class I misdemeanors. He also was ordered to pay $692 in restitution.

* Sidale Ridgebear, 25, of Fremont pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana-less than an ounce, an infraction. He was fined $300.

* Michael Riggs, 34, of Fremont pleaded guilty to theft by shoplifting, a Class II misdemeanor. He was fined $100.

* Edgar Romero, 24, of Fremont pleaded guilty to driving during revocation and no proof of insurance, Class II misdemeanors. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and sentencing set for Nov. 25. In a separate case, he had his arraignment for DUI-third offense greater than .15 percent blood alcohol content, a Class IIIA felony; leaving the scene of a property damage accident, a Class II misdemeanor; and driving under suspension, a Class III misdemeanor, continued until Nov. 25.

* Christina Saeger, 19, of Fremont pleaded innocent to perjury, a Class I misdemeanor. An Oct. 28 pretrial conference was set.

* Gustavo Santiago-Marrero, 34, of Fremont pleaded innocent to domestic assault, a Class I misdemeanor; second-degree criminal trespass and writing an insufficient funds check, Class II misdemeanors; and disorderly conduct, a Class III misdemeanor. An Oct. 14 pretrial conference was set.

* Jessica Sell, 23, of Fremont was sentenced to six months of probation and fined $500 for DUI-first offense greater than .15 percent blood alcohol content. As part of her probation, she must attend a defensive driving class, a victims impact panel and a chemical education class. She also must perform 120 hours of community service and her drivers license was revoked for one year. An ignition interlock device was approved.

* Denise Stevens, 41, of Fremont pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. She was fined $75.

* Brian Ward, 22, of Fremont pleaded no contest to no proof of insurance. He was fined $75.
