Search warrant nets counterfeit money, methamphetamine

Five people were arrested Friday afternoon after the III-CORPS Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in Fremont.

Fremont Police Deputy Chief Jeff Elliott said the warrant was executed at 2 p.m. at a home in the 800 block of North Union Street. Fremont Police, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department, Nebraska State Patrol and Blair Police all assisted with the warrant.

Officers discovered counterfeit money, items used to manufacture counterfeit money, methamphetamine and prescription medications inside the residence. Two children also were in the residence.

Jeremy Rousseau, 30, of Fremont was charged with possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, child neglect and first-degree forgery.

Fremonters Jennifer Rousseau, 34; Dawn Baker, 34; and Jason Arnold, 34, all were arrested for possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine and child neglect.

Mary Lisec, 51, of Fremont was charged with possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine.

All five remained in Dodge County Jail this morning. Their bonds had not been set.

Another individual, 21-year-old Richard Christensen of Nickerson was cited for possession of marijuana-less than an ounce.
