FREMONT — Beverly J. Riley, 90 years, of Fremont passed away Jan. 1, 2018, in Fremont. She was born April 5, 1927, in Omaha to John and Della (Hendricks) Kelley Sr.
She grew up in Omaha and lived at Peru, Indiana, for a short time before returning to Omaha.
She married Elmer Riley on Sept. 27, 1946, in Swazey, Indiana. She cooked at several restaurants, including Kings and Grandmothers restaurants, and at Aksarben Race Track.
She was a member of Platte Valley United Church of Christ in Fremont.
Survived by daughter, Sharon Prell of Runaway Bay, Texas; brother, John Kelley Jr. of Omaha; grandchildren, Laura (Shawn) Anderson, Fremont, Michael (Ann) Borman, Wichita, Kansas, and Scott (Vicky) Borman Schuyler; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Shirley (David) Laughlin.
The memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Memorial visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and family will receive friends from 6-8 all at Moser’s.

Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Omaha, at a later date.
