FREMONT -- Donald J. Halladay, 41 years, of Fremont passed away Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, at Fremont Health Medical Center in Fremont.
Donald was born on Oct. 16, 1976, to Rick and Corine (Wiirre) Halladay in Fremont. He grew up in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School. Donald worked as a cook and various manufacturing and grading jobs. He was currently employed with Walvoord Finish Grading in Omaha. On July 1, 2005, Donald married Jennifer Ramsey in Fremont.
He enjoyed fishing, watching the Dallas Cowboys, listening to metal music, and loved anything that had to do with fireworks. He was a member of Pyro U and licensed to conduct firework shows.
He is survived by wife, Jennifer; daughter, Kaylee Halladay; parents, Rick and Cori Halladay of Omaha; brothers, Kevin (Melissa) Halladay of Fremont, and Andy Halladay of Omaha; nieces, Brynn, Olive, and Joscelyn; and nephews, Hunter and Noah. He was preceded in death by a cousin, Daimon.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Scott Jensen will officiate. Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family. There is no burial.
