FREMONT -- Nicole Lee (Escovedo) Depue, 43 years, of Fremont passed away Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, at Dunklau Gardens Hospice Suites in Fremont, surrounded by her family. Nicole was born Nov. 24, 1974, in Santa Maria, California. She was a graduate of LaQuinta High School in Westminster, California. She grew up in Southern California, before moving to Nebraska in 1998. Nicole married Jay R. Depue on Dec. 2, 2002. She was a Pharmacy Technician at Fremont Health Medical Center and prior to that, she was a Pharmacy Technician at Baker's Pharmacy in Fremont.

Nicole was an avid exercise and physical fitness enthusiast. She loved spending time with her family, and adored her grandson, Atticus.

She is survived by her husband, Jay Depue of Fremont; parents, Randy and Elizabeth Baye of North Bend; daughters, Danielle (Terry) Steinkamp and Bambini Escovedo; son, Zachary Depue, and grandson, Atticus Escovedo, all of Fremont; sister, Katina (Michael) Anderson of Palestine, Texas; brothers, Lane (Edie) Escovedo and Roccie Baye of Fremont and Chris Escovedo of Papillion; aunt, Jeannie Newill of Fremont; special friend, Eric Lowther of Fremont; five nieces; five nephews; one great-niece; one great-nephew; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Juanita Eaton and Charles Phillips; uncles, Charles "Chuck" Phillips and Thomas Phillips; and aunt, Pamela DiMiceli.

A celebration of Nicole's life will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Jesse Winn will officiate. There is no visitation.

Memorials may be directed to her family.
