FREMONT — Sharon Virginia (Ellison) Sinner, born March 24, 1941, in Fremont, passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at the age of 76.
She graduated from Mead High School in 1958 and attended the University of Nebraska where she met her husband and was married at the Marietta Presbyterian Church near Mead on Aug. 2, 1959.
Sharon lived in West Virginia from 1959-75, Minnesota from 1975-84, Ohio from 1984-86 and then came to Fremont. She co-owned Shardell’s Gifts in Fremont.
She is survived by sons, Don Sinner Jr. (Lucy) and Dan Sinner (Lorine) of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Tristan and Alysha Sinner; sister-in-law, Hermine Safford (Stubs) of Waterloo; nieces, Deb, Cynthia and Mary; nephews, Jim Jr. and David.
Preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and Virginia (McFarlane) Ellison; and brother, James Ellison Jr.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Marietta Cemetery near Mead.
