William R. ‘Bill’ Kasper, age 75, of Fremont passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018, at his home. Bill was born Feb. 12, 1943, in Columbus to Rudolph and May (Lusche) Kasper.
Bill grew up in Columbus and graduated from Columbus High School. He married Jolene Cave in 1965 in Fremont. They moved to Litchfield, Minnesota, where he ran the warehouse for Vigortone Ag. Products. In 1980, they came to Fremont and he worked and drove truck for Vigortone Ag. Products for many years. Later he ran his own pilot car service until his retirement in 2010.
Bill loved to fish and be with his family. He was a member of Fremont Anglers Club.
Survived by his wife, Jolene; daughters, Risa Daubert and Ronda Thompson and fiancé, Shad Schellenberg, all of Fremont; brother, Gary (Jamie) Kasper of Porter, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Zach Thompson, Zaena Cusick, Maddie, Blayre, Bodie, Greely and Daylee Daubert; great-grandchildren, Andra Thompson, Charleigh and Calum Cusick.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dwight Kasper.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Private interment will be at Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.
