Police are investigating two weekend reports of criminal mischief to vehicles.

Lt. Kurt Bottorff said police were called early Sunday morning about damage to a windshield and doors on a car in the 1600 block of Dakota Street. The total damage was estimated at $3,000.

Police also are investigating a Saturday afternoon report that the back window was broken out of a van in the 800 block of West 10th Street. The damage was estimated at $900.

Officers took a report Saturday afternoon that tools and cash were stolen during a burglary from a garage in the 700 block of West 10th Street. The loss was not determined.

Police also are investigating a Friday night report that three checks were stolen from a mailbox in the 1800 block of East Linden Avenue. The loss was not known.
