The Nebraska Conservation Education Fund will be hosting a presentation on energy distribution alongside David Bracht, Department of Energy director.
The event will be from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 13 at Keene Memorial Library in Fremont.
The discussion will include the distribution of energy in the state, structure of the public power districts in Nebraska, and Fremont's energy signature. After the presentation, there will be a round table format to answer questions pertaining to both the state's and Fremont's energy signatures.
Brian Newton, Fremont City Administrator, also will be in attendance to help answer specific questions pertaining to Fremont's energy signature, and future goals Fremont has for its energy signature.
Light food and beverages will be served. This event is open to the public.
