KEARNEY – Midland University picked up 10 victories Saturday at the University of Nebraska at Kearney Holiday Inn Wrestling Open.

The event featured more than 800 wrestlers in two divisions.

Adam Ball led the Warriors with three wins in the Amateur 197-pound division. The senior from Manistee, Michigan, pinned Nebraska Wesleyan’s Nick Pray in 3 minutes; Barton’s Ethan Dean in 5:31; and Northwestern’s Reid Seelahmmer in 2:56.

Alexandria, Kentucky, senior Paul Longshore picked up a pair of victories in the Elite 157 division, including a tie-breaker decision.

Other Warriors who collected victories included:

Senior Cooper Self in the Elite 174 division.

Freshman Turah Reed in the Amateur 197 division.

Freshman Elder Dominguez in the Amateur 197 division.

Freshman Angel Gonzales in the Amateur 285 division.

Freshman Kendall Farr in the Amateur 285 division.

The Warriors will return to action at 7 p.m. Nov. 30 when they host Great Plains Athletic Conference opponent Doane at the Wikert Event Center.
