One day after sweeping Palmyra in the C2-1 subdistrict final, Fremont Bergan discovered where its postseason journey will continue in 2017.

The Lady Knights, 24-8, will face Sandy Creek, 17-11, at 7 Saturday night in the C2-5 district final at Centennial High School.

The Cougars went 3-3 during their final six matches of the season, but did sweep Centura, 27-5, in the C2-7 subdistrict title game.

Bergan is one of several area teams competing on Saturday.

Arlington, the 16th seed in Class C-1, will face top-seeded Grand Island Central Catholic at 5:30 p.m. at Columbus for the C1-1 title. Second-seeded Wahoo High will face Auburn at 6 in Weeping Water in the C1-2 final.

North Bend, seeded fourth, will face Wayne at 1 p.m. at West Point-Beemer High School for the C1-4 championship. Wahoo Neumann, seeded 10th, will battle Ord at 5 at Central Community College in Columbus for the C1-7 title.
