BLAIR -- Emma and Georgia Witte earned medals for Fremont Bergan on Monday in the Blair Invitational at River Wilds Golf Course.
Emma and Georgia each shot a 105 to earn 14th and 15th place respectively. Their performances helped Bergan ttie for fourth in the team standings with Waverly at 430.
"I was pleased with the way the Witte girls played from tee to green, but we hit some silly chips around the green that cost us some extra strokes," Bergan coach Jeremy Murman said. "I thought Lily Bojanski (109) hit the ball really well today as well, but leaked a few strokes around the greens. Those are things we will continue to work on as our season doesn't get any easier."
Anna Vobejda shot a 111 while Kinley Shallberg finished with a personal best of 121.
Gretna won the team title with a 403 while Columbus Scotus was second at 416.
Taylor Van Ostrand of Lincoln Christian was the meet medalist with an 85.
