The Nebraska School Activities Association has released the prep football schedules for 2018 and 2019.

Fremont High School will open Week 1 at Lincoln Northeast. The Tigers’ first home game will be in Week 2 against Omaha Benson, followed by another home game against North Platte.

The Tigers’ rivalry with Columbus will be renewed as FHS will go on the road to face the Discoverers in Week 4. Week 5 will feature a trip to Millard North.

Fremont will play three of its final four regular-season games at Heedum Field. Week 6 will feature Papillion-La Vista while Week 8 and 9 will include two new teams to the schedule. The Tigers will play Gretna in Week 8 followed by Elkhorn.

The final road game will be Week 7 at Omaha Burke.

Fremont Bergan opens Aug. 24 at home against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder before traveling to Crofton in Week 2. The Knights will also travel to Wilber-Clatonia on Sept. 7 before consecutive home games against Stanton and Louisville.

Bergan plays Week 6 at Class C-2 defending state champion Yutan before hosting Oakland-Craig. The Knights close with road games (Week 8) at Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur and (Week 9) at Tekamah-Herman.
