The Fremont Golf Club Ladies Association conducted its closing day event recently.
The format for holes 1-6 was net best ball (individual handicaps), holes 7-12 was alternating shots (team handicaps) and holes 13-18 was a scramble (team handicaps).
The team of Maggie Peters, Lynnette Sellon, Kay Brown and Rosie Nelson was first with a 66.5. The team of Cheri Cruthoff, Chris Roffers and Jan Wobken was second with a 68.75 while Patty Meister, Jane Samson and Kerstin O'Connor were third at 69.25.
Cathie Glathar, Sue Wilcoxson and Evelyn Perry were fourth at 69.5. Judy Gitt, Pam Draemel and Sandra Hansen were fifth at 71.75. Marlene Gross, Dee Bang and Nancy Knoell were sixth at 77.75.
Flag prize winners included: Cruthoff for longest putt made on No. 1, Gitt for closest second shot on No. 7, Bang for longest drive in fairway on No. 11, Glathar for closest to pin from off the green on No. 14 and Peters for closest to the pin from tee on No. 17.
Perry was the chip-in winner.
