The Fremont Middle School boys track team opened the season Wednesday with a triangular against Bellevue Logan Fontenelle Middle School and Bellevue Mission Middle School.

In unofficial scoring, both the seventh grade and eighth grade came away with victories.

Event winners for the seventh grade were: Cade Rasmussen in the discus, Jackson Cyza in the long jump and 400, Brandon Gallo in the pole vault, Kaden Karnatz in the high jump, Coulter Fritz in the 800 and Paulo Murrieta-Torres in the 1,600.

Also victorious was the 400-meter relay of Owen Kumm, Rasmussen, Karnatz and Hudson Cunnings and the 1,600-meter team of Fritz, Will Schulz, Cyza and Murrieta-Torres.

Eighth-grade winners were: Drew Sellon in the pole vault, Torrie Turner in the discus, Brady Millard in the high jump, Ashton Sagehorn in the 100 hurdles and 195 hurdles, Braden Taylor in the 800, Micah Moore in the 400, Jaz Sorensen in the 200, Carter Waters in the 1,600 and the 1,600-meter relay of Cruz Robles, Waters, Taylor and Moore.
