The Fremont Middle School boys basketball teams split games recently.

On Thursday, the Tigers defeated Anderson Middle School 36-32 in varsity action while the FMS junior varsity won 41-27.

Micah Moore led the Fremont varsity with 12 points while Brady Millard added 10. Carter Waters finished with six, Ashton Sagehorn had three while Carter Sintek and Jackson Cyza had two each. Drew Sellon contributed one.

Millard, Moore and Sagehorn led the defense.

Benji Nelson, Brady Walter and Kaden Karnatz had seven points each to spark the JV. Landon Winn had six while Damon Jordan and Mason Limbach had five each. Braden Taylor finished with four.

Tyson Baker, Limbach and Brandt Phillips led the defense.

The varsity lost 51-44 to Kiewit on Monday while the JV fell 39-27. 

Sintek led the varsity with 18 points. Millard and Sellon had eight apiece. Waters finished with five while Moore had four. Sagehorn added one. 

Limbach and Sellon led the defense. 

Nelson had 11 for the JV Tigers. Cyza and Limbach had three each. Karnatz, Phillips, Winn, Walter and Jordan had two apiece. 

Baker and Taylor were defensive leaders.
