The Trinity Lutheran varsity girls basketball team is off to a 4-0 start.
The Panthers won the Immanuel of Columbus Tournament on Jan. 6.
Trinity opened with a 46-23 win over the host school as Mya Bolden scored 20 points, grabbed three rebounds and had three steals. Ellison Ross had 12 points, nine rebounds and three steals.
Lily Vaughn (six), Johna Moural (four), Addie Gilfry (two) and Sydney Meyer (two) also scored points. Gilfry had four assists and Moural three.
Trinity beat Norfolk 46-39 in the championship game.
Ross had 12 points, seven rebounds, five steals and four assists. Moural had 11 points while Morgan Ondracek had 10. Gilfry (five), Bolden (four), Sydney Glause (two) and Vaughn (two) also scored.
Trinity defeated St. Paul Lutheran of West Point 36-4 on Jan. 9.
Ross had 10 points while Vaughn contributed eight. Gilfry finished with six points and eight rebounds. Glause had four points and seven steals. Bolden, Sydney Meyer, Moural and Ondracek had two points apiece.
Trinity also beat Concordia 47-11 on Jan. 9.
Ross led the way with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Vaughn and Bolden had 10 points each with the latter recording six blocked shots. Ondracek had six points and 11 rebounds. Gilfry added five points and six rebounds. Moural chipped in two points.
