The Trinity Lutheran Middle School volleyball team won two of three matches during a home tournament recently.

The Panthers opened with a 25-19, 25-13 win over Immanuel of Columbus.

Ellison Ross had two kills while Morgan Ondracek and Mya Bolden had one each. Bolden, Adler Gilfry and Mia Molzahn had one ace apiece. Lily Vaughn had two set assists.

Trinity then beat St. John's of Battle Creek 26-24, 25-17.

Vaughn led the way with four kills, three aces and three set assists. Bolden had two set assists, one kill and seven aces. Ondracek had three aces, three kills and an assist.

Alaina Harkins contributed two aces and Molzahn had one.

Christ Norfolk, who would go on to an undefeated season, beat the Panthers25-14, 25-21 in the third match.

Bolden had three kills and two aces. Vaughn had two aces and two kills. Ondracek and harkins had one ace each. Ross and Ondracek contributed one kill apiece.
