Daily health checks on the approximately 500 cow/calf pairs, 200 replacement heifers,
and 100 developing bulls which may include some weekends. Will assist in routine animal
care including processing animals in chute/tub areas and vaccinating. Opportunity to learn
Artificial Insemination (AI) techniques in cattle and to perform AI. Will assist in carrying out
research projects by following protocols established and may also reduce expenses related
to outsourcing AI for herds. Will assist in calving including occasional night shifts. Routine
power washing of working facilities and pen cleaning during calving. Routine cleaning
