Cobalt Credit Union has begun expansion into Fremont.
It is the Credit Union’s first branch in Fremont. Construction remodel will begin on retail space next week at 3351 24th St., Suite 10.
Gail DeBoer, president of Cobalt Credit Union, said that the Credit Union had been researching this expansion for some time.
“We started down the path of expanding into the Fremont area just over a year ago,” DeBoer said. “Now that our research is done, we believe we have the location that will best meet our members’ needs.”
The new branch will feature an ATM as well as a drive up interactive teller machine (ITM). Construction remodel of the new branch is being done by MCL Construction and the branch was designed by RDG Architects.
“We’re looking forward to opening this new branch and being involved in the Fremont community,” DeBoer said. “We currently work with a number of car dealerships in the area, and now this new branch will bring our Fremont members an added level of service.”
The new Fremont branch will open summer 2019.
Cobalt serves more than 110,000 members in 15 counties in Iowa and Nebraska.
