Raising Cane's is continuing its expansion across Nebraska.
Justin Jones, the franchisee who first brought the restaurant chain known for its hand-battered chicken fingers to Lincoln more than a decade ago, told the North Platte Telegraph he hopes to open a location there in June.
Jones plans to demolish a former bank building and build a new restaurant.
Jones is originally from Louisiana, where Raising Cane's is based. He and his wife opened the first one in Lincoln in 2006 and they now have four locations here. The couple also opened locations in Kearney and Grand Island in the past few years.
