CONESTOGA – Students from three Cass County schools captured speech honors Saturday at the Conestoga Trendsetter Invite.
Teams from across southeast Nebraska competed in multiple speech events throughout the day on the CHS campus. Conestoga, Elmwood-Murdock and Louisville teenagers all ended action with tournament medals. Louisville medaled in eight events, Elmwood-Murdock collected honors in seven contests and Conestoga finished with one award.
All three local teams will compete in the District C1-2 Meet at Louisville on Wednesday. Bishop Neumann, Logan View, North Bend Central, Omaha Brownell-Talbot, Tekamah-Herman and Yutan will also travel to Louisville for district competition.
