LOUISVILLE – Louisville students gathered for a group photo outside the school building prior to their graduation ceremony Saturday afternoon.
They continued to showcase large smiles throughout the rest of their commencement experience.
Students gathered in the Louisville High School gym for an afternoon full of graduation excitement. A large crowd watched an event that included speeches, songs, recognition of honor students, a senior slide show, presentation of flowers and awarding of diplomas.
Louisville Junior/Senior High School Principal Brett Schwartz welcomed the crowd and told them the Class of 2018 had made many successful memories in their careers. Members of the high school choir sang “On Top of the World” prior to three student addresses. Mackenzie Stohlmann, Skyler Lipsys and Grace Jacobsen all delivered speeches to the audience.
Schwartz then recognized students who had achieved academic distinction. Dannielle Barkhurst, Sierra Cox, Joey Gruber, Jared Hrabik, Grace Jacobsen, Julie Katz, Lily Korytowski, Kaleb Kramer, Skyler Lipsys, Maddy Sladky and Spencer Warner were all National Honor Society members.
Seniors watched a slide show and delivered flowers to family, friends and loved ones. They then walked across the stage to receive their diplomas.
