Most Avid Adult Volunteer candidates are Patti Peterson, Stacie Kragness, Julie Noll, Traci Krauth, Dave Steinkrueger, Brian Harvey, Heather Weaver, Deanna Pohlmeier and Tony Cruse.

Most Avid Youth Volunteer nominees are Aiden Kragness, Alyx Curran-Lewis and Caleb Weaver.

Kindergarten Roundup

St. John the Bapstist Catholic School Kindergarten Roundup is 7-8 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at the school, 500 S. 18th St., Plattsmouth.

Miss Plattsmouth

Plattsmouth Chamber of Commerce is looking for Miss Plattsmouth 2018. The winner receives a $500 scholarship and competes in the Cass County Queen pageant. Applications are available by emailing Cindy at ccruse@plattsmouthchamber.com or at the High School front desk.

Job Fair

Plattsmouth Public Library is having a job fair 3-6 p.m. Thursday. Representatives from Hy-Vee, Midwest Hops Producers LLc, Plattre River Rentals, Slattery Vintage Estates, SERVPRO of Sarpy County, city of Plattsmouth Public Works and Plattsmouth Community Center will be at the job fair.

Fish Fries

Lenten Fish fries Don’t miss Church of the Holy Spirit’s Lenten Fish Fries 5-7:30 p.m. every Friday through March 23 in St. John the Baptist School Gym. Live entertainment is offered every Friday.

CASA Training

Cass County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) speak up for the best interests of abused and neglected children. Training starts April 2018.
