An 18-year-old from Beaver Lake was taken to the hospital Saturday evening with nonlife-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash at Highway 75 and Highway 1.
Cass County Sheriff Office deputies and Murray Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the accident at 8:26 p.m. March 3. The accident occurred when Charlie Erny, 18, of Beaver Lake was traveling east on Highway 1 and Joseph Vinduska, 36, of Mynard was driving north in a 2013 GMC Acadia. According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, the Acadia collided with the side of Erny’s vehicle.
Murray Rescue transported Erny to Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha with nonlife-threatening injuries.
No alcohol or drugs are suspected to be involved in the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
