MURRAY – Nola J. Wilsey, 80, of Murray, Neb., was born Nov. 13, 1937, in Omaha, Neb., to Walter F. and Sarah N. (Shotwell) Weiss. She passed away Dec. 20, 2017 at Granville Assisted Living Center in LaVista, Neb.
Nola was raised and lived most of her life in Cass County except when living in Bellevue while Jerry was in the Air Force. She owned and operated Nola’s Restaurant in Murray, Neb. for many years. Later in life, she worked at the Super Suds Carwash in Plattsmouth. Nola was united in marriage Jan. 21, 1967 to Gerald F. Wilsey, Sr. in Bellevue, Neb. Together they raised four children, Toby, Mark, Julie and Jerry. She was an active member of the local Pheasants Forever Chapter and enjoyed knitting and crocheting blankets for friends and family.
She is survived by her children, Toby (Lisa) Wilsey of Papilion, Neb., Mark (Loraine) Wilsey of Bellevue, Neb., Julie (Sam) Naberhaus of Nebraska City, Neb., Jerry (Robbin) Wilsey of Cameron, MO; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

Nola was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald Wilsey, Sr.; and brother, Walter Weiss.
The family greeted friends at the funeral home Tues., Dec. 26, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m.
No services were held. Interment will be held at a later time in Oak Hill Cemetery, Plattsmouth, Neb.
