First of all - Congratulations on "kicking the butt" (cigarette that is). I too went cold turkey in November of 2016. However, I must admit to smoking a pack during that year plus, even though I feel I'm over the hill on my addiction.
My desire for a cigarette only presents itself when I see a long time friend and smoker. I succumb to a cigarette with him, which is usually at a once a month meeting. If the statistics I read in your column are realistic, I'm going to live to be 100. I just celebrated number 87. I hope you also join me at the century mark.
