Plattsmouth boys soccer 2018

NORRIS – Norris had put its quick-strike offense to work against many of its soccer opponents earlier in the season.

The Titans created a similar scenario against the Plattsmouth boys Thursday night.

Norris carded three goals in each half to defeat the Blue Devils 6-0. Norris (7-2) won its fifth home match of the season and scored six or more goals for the fourth time. The team also collected its third shutout in its last four games.

Keegan Johnson led Norris with three goals and one assist. Jack Lee posted one goal and two assists, Ben Hohensee had one goal and one assist and Ben Vanbrocklin scored once. NHS goalkeeper Kaleb Vogt collected the shutout.

Plattsmouth (0-10) will resume its season Tuesday with a 6 p.m. home match against Conestoga. The schools will play at the grass soccer field in between the administration building and baseball diamond. Track and field teams will be using the Blue Devil Stadium surface for a meet that afternoon and evening.
