PLATTSMOUTH—Through an anonymous donor, the Plattsmouth Public Library is now offering corn pottery and Native American collectibles for sale.

“You can give as gifts or add to your collection,” said Karen Mier, library director.

The items are priced $3 up to $125. People can purchase them for the price marked, or place a bid on an item.

The corn pottery includes dishes, platers, salt and pepper shakers, and covered butter dishes.

There are also dolls dressed up in Native American fashions, Nemadji vases, plus an authentic hand-made Native American necklace, priced at $125.

“We’ve already sold quite a few pieces,” Mier said.

The items are in a display case on the main floor and will remain until all the pieces are sold, she said.

All proceeds go to the library’s operations.
