PLATTSMOUTH – Plattsmouth Board of Education will hold an emergency meeting Thursday night to increase the school district’s line of credit with Plattsmouth State Bank.
Plattsmouth officials notified The Journal late Wednesday afternoon about the meeting. It will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Plattsmouth Community Schools administration building.
Board members are scheduled to adopt a resolution to increase the line of credit with Plattsmouth State Bank and a sponsoring bank to $2.25 million. There will be a roll-call vote on the resolution. Steve Barr, Tony Foster, Bob Fuller, Matt Glup, Shane Jensen, Max Muller, Karen Parsons, Cory Wehrbein and Ken Winters are the current board members.
If the resolution is approved, it will mark the second time in less than 60 days that the district has increased its line of credit. Board members approved a resolution at their December 2018 meeting that increased the line of credit with Plattsmouth State Bank from $1 million to $1.4 million.
Barr, Fuller and Muller were not board members at that time. All three took their oath of office as new members this past Monday night.
