LOUISVILLE – An autopsy has been ordered on the cause of death of a 61-year-old man on Saturday at the Ash Grove Cement Plant in Louisville.
In a press release from the Cass County Sheriff’s Department, David Soban of Oklahoma was returning from break in the late afternoon when he collapsed to the ground and was observed by witnesses at the scene to stop breathing.
Louisville Rescue and Cass County emergency management medics were dispatched to plant, and before they arrived, the rescue call was updated to CPR in progress by Ash Grove employees. Soban was transported to Midlands Hospital, but lifesaving attempts were unsuccessful and Soban was pronounced dead.
Cass County Attorney Colin Palm has ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
