Plattsmouth in Eastern Midlands Conference Tournament
Plattsmouth golfers faced multiple opponents Tuesday during action at the Eastern Midlands Conference Tournament.
Eight EMC teams traveled to Stone Creek Golf Club in Omaha for the annual event. Rain and lightning in the morning forced league officials to shorten the tournament to nine holes. Athletes battled wet conditions for much of the late morning and early afternoon.

Elmwood-Murdock vs. Palmyra
Elmwood-Murdock hosted Palmyra Tuesday afternoon for a dual. Four golfers took part in the event at Grandpa’s Woods.
Rylee Hogue was the lone E-M golfer to participate. She fired a nine-hole score of 53. Hogue took one stroke off her previous-best nine-hole round of the season. She had posted a 54 one day earlier at the Elmwood-Murdock Invite.
Palmyra’s Trinity Bohaty earned medalist honors at the dual with a 49. Teammates Lilly Calkins (50) and Abby Champagne (62) added rounds during the day. Golfers contended with wind speeds in the mid-teens throughout the dual.
