The Plattsmouth girls battled Omaha Roncalli and Blair on the road this week on back-to-back nights.
Omaha Roncalli 58, Plattsmouth 35
Plattsmouth stayed with the Crimson Pride for the first four minutes of Thursday evening’s game. Bella Chappell scored four early points and Chloe Sabatka and Taylor Caba both made baskets to keep the margin at 10-8.
Payton Stoffel helped Omaha Roncalli (7-5) build a 36-15 edge by halftime. She began the second quarter with consecutive treys and added two more baskets late in the period. She finished the game with 14 points.
The Crimson Pride led 46-20 after a putback from Ella Matthies with 1:32 left in the third quarter. The team maintained the double-digit gap the rest of the way.
Chappell guided Plattsmouth’s offense with ten points. Sabatka scored eight points, Kira Leget posted five points and Caba had four points. Rachel Widick, Katie Rathman, Lexi Schroeder and Rylee Hellbusch all chipped in two points for the Blue Devils.

Blair 50, Plattsmouth 22
Blair (5-7) used a quick start to stop Plattsmouth (4-9) Friday night. The Bears flew out to a 15-2 lead after the first quarter and went ahead 26-7 at the break.
Plattsmouth is scheduled to resume its season Tuesday with a 6 p.m. game at Syracuse. The Blue Devils will host Gretna at 6 p.m. Thursday.
