The Plattsmouth girls made trips to the basketball court on consecutive nights this week during games with Omaha Duchesne and Bennington.

Omaha Duchesne 56, Plattsmouth 37

Omaha Duchesne senior Grace Wallrapp caused damage in multiple ways against the Blue Devils Thursday night. She went 9-of-14 from the floor and 4-of-7 from the foul line during her 23-point performance. Wallrapp also had 15 rebounds, seven blocks, two assists and two steals.

Allie Caldwell scored nine points and Isabel Stanek added four points and eight rebounds. Omaha Duchesne improved to 6-12.

Bennington 58, Plattsmouth 37

Bennington used a balanced scoring attack to stop PHS Friday evening. Six Badgers produced five or more points in the game. Miley Prine led the effort with 14 points and eight rebounds and Kylie John added ten points and five boards. Grace Tetschner chipped in seven rebounds and Madelyn Turner made five assists for Bennington (13-7).

Bella Chappell guided Plattsmouth’s offense with 15 points. Chloe Sabatka scored seven points and Rachel Widick and Lyndsey Caba each had three points. Kira Leget, Taylor Caba, Lexi Schroeder and Jessica Meisinger all scored two points and Kennedy Miller chipped in one point.

Plattsmouth (5-14) will resume its campaign Tuesday night with a 6 p.m. home game against Arlington. PHS will complete the regular season Friday with a 6 p.m. game at Waverly.
