“Wonderland: Alice’s Rock & Roll Adventure,” 7 p.m., The Rose Theater, Omaha. The production, which continues through April 8, puts a unique twist on the classic Lewis Carroll story. The event, which continues through Sunday, will include junk and vintage vendors and artisans, live music, food trucks and a free Kids Village. Admission is $10 per day or $20 for the full weekend. 100 Year Washington County Fair Kick Off Dance, 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Washington County Fairgrounds, Arlington. Doors open at 7 p.m. and Lloyd McCarter and The Honky Tonk Revival will start at 8 p.m. There will be a cash bar. Admission is $10 per person at the door.

18th annual Weatherfest and Central Plains Severe Weather Symposium, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Nebraska Innovation Campus Convention Center, 2021 Transformation Drive, Lincoln. The event, which is free and open to the public, prepares communities for extremes in weather, water and climate events. There will be exhibits and activities for people of all ages.

The show with dealers, displays, youth activities, gem dig and activities for the whole family will continue on Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults and free for children 11 and under with a paid adult.

Music at the Museum, 9:30 a.m. to noon, Lincoln Children’s Museum. Children will have the opportunity to try out different instruments, hear live performances and get answers to your questions about music.

A Celebration of Independence, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum, near Ashland. The event will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the United States Air Force and 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom. The event opens with a USAF “Rivet Joint” aircraft flying over the museum at 10 a.m. Indoor activities begin immediately after the fly over and include presentations by Squadrom Leader Adrian Pickup (RAF) and Major Noah Lazenby (USAF). The museum also will open its Vulcan aircraft for the day. Active and retired military are offered $2 off admission for this special day. Admission is $12 for adults, $11 for seniors and $6 for children ages 4-12.

One Life Nebraska’s 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt, 3-5 p.m., Barnard Park, Fremont. One Life Nebraska wants to make sure every kid gets an Easter. Baskets will be available for those who do not have one. The organization also is looking to collect clothing, non-perishable food and baby items for Low Income Ministry of Dodge County.
