The production, which continues through Feb. 10, tells the emotional story of Christopher, a 15-year-old boy with an autism spectrum condition who sets out to solve the mysterious death of a neighbor’s death. Indoor air show, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum, near Ashland. The radio-controlled model pilots will demonstrate loops, flips and barrel rolls in the museum’s climate-controlled Durham Restoration Hangar. Over 75 pilots will demonstrate their skills. R/C club pilots will fly throughout the day beginning at 10 a.m. and concluding at 2 p.m. There also will be an interactive workshop and educational booths.

Opening event for “The Robot Zoo” exhibit, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum, near Ashland. The exhibit, which will be on display through May 10, features robotic animals and seven hands-on activities. Wildlife Encounters will be bringing in live animals for the opening event. The exhibit and the opening day event are included with paid admission.

Opening of “Oliver Jeffers: 15 Years of Picturing Books” exhibit, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Joslyn Art Museum, Omaha. This exhibit, which will be on display through April 28, chronicles Jeffers’ development and success as a children’s book artist. Admission is free.

“Back to the Basics,” 2-4 p.m., Keene Memorial Library Auditorium, Fremont. The event will be hosted by the Fremont area spinners and weavers guild, “Spinners Web.” Members will be spinning wool and other fibers into yard. Other demonstrations may include weaving, crocheting, knitting and other fiber arts using handspun and commercial yarns. Everyone is welcome. Admission is free.

“Winter Wonderland,” 2 p.m., Denman and Mary Mallory Kountze Memorial Theatre, Eugene T. Mahoney State Park, near Ashland. The interactive magic show runs approximately 45-50 minutes in length and is performed by Old Market Magician Ryan Chandler. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 per child ages 12 and under.
